Here is one example of how our DM uses Game Scents. Let's say you are the DM. The campaign you are running has an unexpected surprise of orcs. You would open the scent tin behind your screen to tip off your players. You may even ask them if they can smell what lies ahead as a perception check.

Roughly a year if used only during gameplay.

These are NOT typical candle scents. While some do smell lovely, these are designed to smell realistic to the character or environment. Therefore, scents like orc are not recommended deodorizers, but rather a realistic scent to add to your battles and explorations. BUT if you want your room to smell like decay and rot, we encourage that too. Please message us if you have any questions :)
